Crossbow Construction was founded by James Bowden in 2017, driven by a deep passion for the built environment.
The company offers both contracting and construction management services, with a commitment to delivering projects of the highest quality - on time and within budget.
Over the past two decades, James has worked between Seychelles and South Africa, gaining valuable experience across a diverse range of projects. He specializes in high-end residential and hotel developments, bringing a keen eye for detail and craftsmanship to every build.

James Bowden
James graduated with honours in construction management and property development at UKZN. He began his career within the guidance of his father’s construction company, where he gained invaluable experience in running a business, managing residential builds and even gaining competency in various trades, which laid the foundations for his hands on approach.
James moved on to work for a civil contractor where he managed numerous sites including bridges, culverts and water retaining structures within KZN.
Following this he moved into hotel construction management, where he project managed the construction of various 5* resorts and hotels in Malawi and the Seychelles.
James is an interactive leader who brings his wealth of experience to every job he undertakes. Whether it be a new build, alteration or civil structure he applies the same level of professionalism and quality to every job.
